Arrive at your chosen lake at: 1pm, back to shore by 2:30pm
or 
2pm, back to shore by 4pm
or 
1pm, back to shore by 4pm

Each lake has a $3 entry fee for parking. This is good for all the lakes all day! Wednesdays are free parking!
Taxi, uber, or lyft to the entrance, and walk in if you want. 
or, $3 fee that you will be responsible to pay when you get there.

Option #1 Watson Lake

Close to Forest Villa, about a 10 minute drive.

Aprox. 380 acres, Watson Lake is the second largest lake in Prescott AZ. But the most unique with granite boulder surroundings making it a sight to see. Boats are limited to 10 horsepower gas motors with a maximum no-wake speed of 5 MPH. Fishing varieties include trout, bass, crappie and catfish. Camping sites are available during the summer months. 
Note that swimming in the lake is prohibited.

Option #2 Goldwater Lake and Ranch Trail

About a 15 minute drive from Forest Villa Hotel

Goldwater Lake is a small lake of about 15 acres of water surface. and. Surrounded by pine trees. It is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is limited to boats with electric motors. The lake is for day-use only (no camping)but has picnic areas, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, fishing docks, restrooms and is handicapped accessible. Note that swimming in the lake is prohibited. 

Option #3 Willow Lake

Close to Forest Villas Hotel, about a 10-minute drive.

At 400 acres Willow Lake is the largest lake in Prescott. Located 10minutes from Watson Lake. Boating is limited to electric motors and the lake is perfect for canoeing and kayaking. As many of the lakes a hiking trail hugs along the western part of the lake and connects with Watson Lake. There is not access to camping, but the day-use area includes picnic tables, boat ramp, children's playground and softball fields.
Note that swimming in the lake is prohibited.
