"Core" Arts in all our retreats

A Dance Experience for ALL movement abilities, even those that have never Danced before. Awaken the body, Stimulate the Mind, Feed the Soul. Designed, and choreographed by world renowned choreographer Sherry Zunker.
The Artistic Athlete’s secret - This class has been designed for over 33 years by Mary Heller.  She has used it nationally to re-align Olympic gymnasts, to lay people with joint pain. It trains the bodymind in proper alignment using the efficient strength of the smaller four, core muscle groups. Over time it changes your skeletal alignment through:

• Muscle memory conditioning,

• Aligned, deep, belly-of-the-muscles, active isolated stretching (AIS), WITH the use of gravity, and barres. Specific somatic stretches that re-organize the neuropathway systems.

• Integration of KINESIOLOGY awareness into other movement practices, and/or everyday movement you do.

Quantum Science in Body and Movement

Valerie Lambert will facilitate sessions with Mary Heller and Tim Hood. They will be your guides into the specific principles of Quantum scientific principles that prove why, and how we move directly is the result of our accumulated, most consistent emotions over days, weeks, months, years and/or decades. The other way is through repetitive, ubiquitous fine and gross motor movement. Each, or both, can cause pain, dis-ease and illness, sometimes terminally, in our brain/bodies when done out of alignment in the six bodies we each have, even by a little over time. Standard medicine only treats the symptoms of these, and "alternate" ways of food, and "exercise" advice still doesn't get to the ROOT cause of it sometimes.  How by product symptoms of past surgeries, and standard medical treatments can come about, and yet can be released and/or integrated into the unit is also explained. The ways to reverse these symptoms in the brain/body through kinesiology re-alignment, dynamic, static and somatic stretching in simultaneous conditioning using breath, and gravity will be explained before embodied learning. Exactly how your relationship with not just nature here in Prescott, but anywhere you go, including urban and city landscapes, is effected by our brain/body movement choices first, and relative to our health. Living in urban and city places is still a nature. Affordable, optional tools such as individualized mixtures of pure essential oils, waters, and lotions, plus audios, books, and visualizations not usually known in the mainstream will also be explained.


Yoga

With a focus on alignment and breath this yoga class is designed to help you build, strengthen and grow your yoga practice whether your are brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner. Shinay’s classes are full of heart, energy, and intention. Experience a whole-body awakening through a classical approach to yoga with Shinay Tredeau.

It was a dream started by my father, nature and fitness enthusiast, Mycah Dilbeck. Born To be Wild is back, and moved to Arizona. With the same dream, to be the avenue that connects you to outdoor adventures. Our kayaking rentals and tours will be the start of many things to come, and we want to connect our community through these outings. At this time we are operating pick up and drop off of kayaks in the Prescott Arizona. For Get In To Get Out retreat participants I am also teaching private, semi private and group classes in proper kayak/row technique." Mountain Biking

Soul Ride offers beginner, intermediate and expert level mountain bike tours for riders looking to explore Prescott’s natural beauty. We also offer shuttle services for riders who want to experience a longer cross country ride or a downhill ride without the climb. Join us for a memorable adventure, getting stoked on Prescott’s single track with the support of guides who are enthusiastic and inspirational. Or choose to have us shuttle you on your own personalized ride.

Indoor Rock Climbing

There’s a First Time for Everything!!!

So, this is your first-time venturing into the world of indoor rock climbing? Don’t worry Gripstone will be gentle. It’s not hard to learn to climb, but it’s important that you learn from an experienced instructor all of the necessary information. We also teach ALL levels. Your challenge awaits you. That’s Why We’re Here to Help you Along. No Previous Climbing Experience Necessary. Why not try it? You know you want to!

Rock Climbing is a Full Body Workout. You’ll work muscles you never knew you had. Rock Climbing is FUN. Your face may hurt from smiling so much. Rock Climbing is for EVERYONE.

PLEASE EXPECT 30-45 min before climbing on your 1st time in the gym. Waiver Required For Everyone to Enter Climbing Area – PLEASE BRING VALID ID FOR ALL ADULT CLIMBERS.
